In this episode Tracey and Scott are rogue podcasters….they don’t follow the Disney Podcaster Code and explore one of their favorite Disney movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas.

They explore the history of the movie, from poem – to screen – to theme park, after catching a viewing at the Main Street Theater.

Then they stop by the record store in Disney to take a look at the three different soundtracks for this 1993 classic.  The original release, the two-disc special edition and Nightmare Revisited.

Episode 006: Make Mine Music: Disney Cover Songs

Welcome to the sixth episode of Disney, Indiana! In this episode, Tracey and Scott explore the world of Disney cover songs. They head over to tune-town records to count down their 5 favorite covers, even if one of the co-hosts can’t quite narrow the list to five!

While at the record store, they also review the 2008 release Faith Trust and Pixie Dust from Broadway star Kerry Butler.

Then our host reveal the details of the very first Disney, Indiana contest! Open to residents of Disney, Indiana only, so make sure you stake your claim soon as there as been a population explosion in Disney, Indiana!

Episode 005: Light Speed to Endor!

In the fifth episode of Disney, Indiana, Tracey and Scott attempt a trip to the Moon of Endor with Star Tours. Both of our intrepid travellers are big fans of Disney and Star Wars, so this attraction is a favorite part of their Disney Universe.

Episode 003: What Foolishness Would You Like to See?

“It’s time to get things started” with Scott and Tracey! This episode, we devote two segments to a discussion of how the Jim Henson Muppets have become part of the Disney family.

In segment one, we talk about Muppet*Vision 3D, a wonderful 3D movie attraction found in both Walt Disney World inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios and at the Disneyland Resort in the Hollywood Backlot section of Disney’s California Adventure. We talk about the buildings, the pre-show area and the show itself, sharing some Disney details and audio clips.

Next, we discuss a show we caught on the local public-access TV station, WDTV: “The Muppets at Walt Disney World”. In this one hour special from 1990, Kermit and the gang run amok through the 3 Florida theme parks. We play a couple of audio clips from the show as well. See if you can ID the “guest star” who duets with Kermit!

We wrap up the show with listener feedback from our previous Question Time, and pose a new theme-related Question for our listeners. We hope to meet a couple of you next weekend at the DIS Boards Meet at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville, Indiana!
