“It’s time to get things started” with Scott and Tracey! This episode, we devote two segments to a discussion of how the Jim Henson Muppets have become part of the Disney family.
In segment one, we talk about Muppet*Vision 3D, a wonderful 3D movie attraction found in both Walt Disney World inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios and at the Disneyland Resort in the Hollywood Backlot section of Disney’s California Adventure. We talk about the buildings, the pre-show area and the show itself, sharing some Disney details and audio clips.

Next, we discuss a show we caught on the local public-access TV station, WDTV: “The Muppets at Walt Disney World”. In this one hour special from 1990, Kermit and the gang run amok through the 3 Florida theme parks. We play a couple of audio clips from the show as well. See if you can ID the “guest star” who duets with Kermit!
We wrap up the show with listener feedback from our previous Question Time, and pose a new theme-related Question for our listeners. We hope to meet a couple of you next weekend at the DIS Boards Meet at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville, Indiana!
