Disney, Indiana – Episode 85 – Happy 40th Anniversary!

In today’s episode, Scott and Tracey visit Walt Disney World to celebrate its 40th anniversary, including watching the Lion King Parade, experiencing the new additions to the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and attending the time capsule burial at the castle… or so they think. Jessica steps in to explain why they can’t do those things and then playing audio from the Disney Dreams stage show Scott and Tracey saw on the Disney Wonder. Our hosts wrap things up with listener feedback and offering some advice to a Disney, Indiana family planning their first trip to Walt Disney World.

Disney, Indiana – Episode 84 – Alaskan King Lion? aka Our Amazing Alaska Adventure (Part 2)

In today’s episode, Tracey and Scott wrap up their Amazing Alaskan Adventure trip report – discussing their stop in Juneau to go whale watching, a stop in Ketchikan for a float plane ride over the Misty Fjords and a final day at sea. Along the way they share some of the music from the show Toy Story: The Musical and give their overall impressions of the trip.

After returning to the lower 48, our hosts took in a showing of The Lion King in 3D. Did they like the conversion job to 3D? Well, they’ll share their thoughts along with a brief history of the film. As a bonus, you’ll also get to hear what one of the residents here in Disney, Indiana thought of the Lion King 3D.

Disney, Indiana – Episode 082 – While They Were Crusin’

In today’s episode, Tracey and Scott have entrusted Disney, Indiana into the cyber hands of Jessica, the master control program that runs the town. They aren’t here to host the show themselves as they are currently on the Disney Wonder somewhere in Alaskan waters.

Jessica has cued up some Walt Disney World audio to share with everyone – all recorded by Tracey and Scott. First up, a recording from May 2009 of the British Invasion from the UK pavilion at Epcot. Then she has some Off Kilter from the same trip performing at the Canadian pavilion. The last bit of audio is a 2010 recording of the Tiki Room: Under New Management from the Magic Kingdom.
