Disney, Indiana – Episode 063 – We Wear Epic Short Shorts

In today’s episode Tracey and Scott wrap up their monthly Perspective on Pixar segment with a look at Pixar’s Shorts. They each pick their top five favorite shorts, talking about each of them and explaining why they picked them.

Then they make their way over to Flynn’s Arcade to talk about Epic Mickey for the Nintendo Wii and Tracey takes the lead on this one and her experience painting with Mickey and Oswald.

Finally, our hosts talk about their recent trip to Chicago to take in the exhibit Jim Henson’s Fantastic World at the Museum of Science and Industry.

Also, Buzzy plays some holiday hits on WWED.

Episode 038 – More Muppet Holidays

After a Christmas gift for Tracey goes horribly wrong, our hosts finish their look at Muppet holidays with their thoughts on two Muppet Christmas TV specials. They also share some more Muppet Christmas music on WWED.

They conclude the Holidays Around the World, Throughout the Year with another visit to the American pavilion at Epcot and give some teasers for next year’s monthly segment.

Scott and Tracey share a very special Disney Podcaster Christmas project, and then, before they turn with a jerk up the chimney (you decide which one is the jerk), they cover a small bit of listener feedback.

Episode 037 – Make Mine Muppet Music

After the drinking fountains of the Magic Kingdom idea is flushed, our hosts return to the Muppets.  Since Scott has listened to the Muppet version of Bohemian Rhapsody for the umpteenth time, they each share their top six favorite Muppet songs.

Then over at WWED, Buzzy gets into the Muppet and Holiday spirit by playing Muppet Christmas music.

To continue the Muppet foolishness, Tracey and Scott share some audio from last summer’s Friends of the Magic weekend – a very funny showing of the Muppet*Vision 3D attraction at Clinton’s “Honey, I Amped the Audience” meet – sponsored by Comedy4cast at Comedy4cast.com!

They then wrap up the show with a little listener feedback and a look at next time’s show.

Episode 003: What Foolishness Would You Like to See?

“It’s time to get things started” with Scott and Tracey! This episode, we devote two segments to a discussion of how the Jim Henson Muppets have become part of the Disney family.

In segment one, we talk about Muppet*Vision 3D, a wonderful 3D movie attraction found in both Walt Disney World inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios and at the Disneyland Resort in the Hollywood Backlot section of Disney’s California Adventure. We talk about the buildings, the pre-show area and the show itself, sharing some Disney details and audio clips.

Next, we discuss a show we caught on the local public-access TV station, WDTV: “The Muppets at Walt Disney World”. In this one hour special from 1990, Kermit and the gang run amok through the 3 Florida theme parks. We play a couple of audio clips from the show as well. See if you can ID the “guest star” who duets with Kermit!

We wrap up the show with listener feedback from our previous Question Time, and pose a new theme-related Question for our listeners. We hope to meet a couple of you next weekend at the DIS Boards Meet at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville, Indiana!
