Disney, Indiana Episode 185 – Dodger, Disneyland and the Indy Disney Meet

On this episode of the Disney, Indiana podcast, our hosts continue their year long Canine Confidential series with a look at the Dodger from the 1988 animated film Oliver & Company. After talking about this artful dodger, our hosts make their way over to the Ink and Paint Club to sit down with Aaron DelPrince to talk about the 8th Annual Indy Disney Meet coming up on August 29, 2015 in support of Give Kids the World. Then our hosts get ready for their upcoming trip to Disneyland to celebrate its 60th anniversary by looking back to their 2005 trip and Disneyland’s 50th anniversary. Scott Joins Monster Kid Radio to go “Beneath the Planet of the Apes”

Disney, Indiana co-host Scott climbs aboard his personal spacecraft, the Liberty 1, to make a return trip to the Monster Kid Radio podcast to discuss the 1970 film Beneath the Planet of the Apes. His mission on MKR is to guide host Derek M. Koch on his first journey through the Planet of the Apes Franchise.


In part one of the Beneath the Planet of the Apes coverage, Scott and Derek talk about what went on behind the scenes to product this movie and discuss why this film was suppose to end the franchise. MKR episode 219: Going Beneath the Planet of the Apes with Scott Morris contains part one.

Disney, Indiana Episode 184 – Ant-Man’s Legendary Disneyland Trip

After some issues with a new super suit, Tracey and Scott take a look at the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Ant-Man! They take a look at the film’s journey from the ant hill to the silver screen along with their thoughts on the little guy. Our hosts then preview their upcoming trip to Disneyland to attend the 2015 Friends of the Magic Fan Gathering and review the just announced 2015 Disney Legends Class. Disney, Indiana Episode 183 – American Dog Games

In today’s episode, our hosts, Scott and Tracey present the July Canine Confidential with a look at Bolt, the star of the 2008 animated film of the same name. They start with his origins as Henry, an American Dog and discuss how the film’s concept changed over time. Our hosts follow that up with a call over to the Main Street Cinema and a replay of a special interview. After tuning into WWED, Tracey and Scott also re-visit the Disney, Infinity 2.0 video game and share their thoughts on the remaining characters and some of their favorite Power Discs. They wrap up the show with the results of the Recast Inside Out contest, as well as a look at some upcoming events.

Disney, Indiana Episode 182 – Slinky Emotions

Today Tracey and Scott sit down and take a long look at the big screen, dig deep within and get in touch with Pixar’s newest characters – Joy, Fear, Anger, Sadness and Disgust – as they ponder life, universe and 2015’s Inside Out. They analyze the history and production of this Pete Docter and Ronaldo Del Carmen directed film. They will also bring out their feelings on this new film. Will our hosts be able to grow emotionally on this journey or will they have to be placed under observation – listen to find out!
