On today’s episode, our hosts Tracey and Scott once again attempt to kick off the Tasmanian Devil retrospective that Tracey has been wanting to do for oh so long. Unfortunately, the idea of a basketball-themed episode takes over – after all this is Indiana – and they turn their attention to 1996’s Space Jam starring Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan. Is the film still a slam dunk after 20 plus years, we’ll find out. They’ll also check in with Mortis and wrap up the episode with a look at the upcoming entries in the massively popular DCEU!
In today’s episode, Tracey and Scott take a look at the final entry in the Disney / Lucasfilm saga. 2019’s Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. They go through some production notes on the film, discuss its marketing and promotional tie-ins, examine the critical and popular response so far, as well as share their own thoughts. Along the way they blast off into the past with a recording of the original Star Tours attraction from Star Wars Weekends at Walt Disney World from 2009. They also check in at the Main Street Cinema and share some listener feedback.
