Scott on Monster Kid Radio – Earth vs The Flying Saucers

Disney, Indiana co-host Scott joins his friend and fellow podcaster Derek for an episode of the Monster Kid Radio podcast. The two talk about 1956′s Earth vs. The Flying Saucers, directed by Fred Sears. This episode is part of Monster Kid Radio’s Ray Harryhausen series.

While not 100% Disney related, Scott still brings up a connection between the film and the Haunted Mansion as well as a talk about one of his favorite places at Walt Disney World. Scott also talks about his own introduction to classic science fiction films.

If you would like to learn a little about our co-host outside of the world of Disney, check out part one of the episode at Monster Kid Radio – Episode 11: Part 1.

Part two of the episode can be found at Monster Kid Radio – Episode 12: Part 2.

Disney, Indiana – Episode 99 – A Golden Guest Host

Hello everyone! In today’s episode, the town high mucky-mucks were called away for some very important business out of town and were not available to host the show. But don’t fear everyone, as our neighborhood cinema projectionist Mortis was able to fill in and bring you the episode this week.

Mortis shares some audio that Tracey and Scott recorded during the Disney Alaskan cruise they took last fall. We would like to give a big thank you to Mortis for stepping in and helping put together this show.

Your regular hosts will be back next time with episode number 100 and a topic that is near and dear to Scott’s heart.

Make sure you check out Mortis’ own show, the Mortis Matinee, at http://themortis.com

Random Disney Quote

Look! The moonlight shows us for what we really are! We are not among the living, and so we cannot die. But neither are we dead! For too long, I’ve been parched of thirst and unable to quench it. Too long I’ve been starvin’ to death and haven’t died. I feel nothin’. Not the wind on my face nor the spray of the sea, nor the warmth of a woman’s flesh. You best start believin’ in ghost stories, Miss Turner. You’re in one! — Captain Hector Barbossa, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Cruse of the Black Pearl (2002)
