Disney, Indiana – Episode 107 – Pluto, Magic’s Best Friend

Tracey and Scott have returned from the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy with tales of Friends of the Magic, space battles and Mickey bars. They have a review of the 2012 Friends of the Magic weekend at the Disneyland Resort that took place August 3-5, 2012.

After the trip report, they bring you August’s Salute to Shorts with a look at the films of Pluto the Pup. They share some history of Mickey’s best friend along with reviews of some of the K9’s short films.

Disney, Indiana – Episode 106 – Stupid Judy and her Stupid Energy!

Tracey and Scott have left Disney, Indiana to attend the Friends of the Magic gathering at the Disneyland Resort. They have asked Jessica, the master control program that runs Disney, Indiana, to fill in for them for this episode.

Jessica shares with you a recording Scott and Tracey made at the Walt Disney World resort back in February of 2011, on a visit to Epcot. Jessica also makes a call over to the Main Street Cinema to check in on Mortis to make sure he’s not misbehaving while Tracey and Scott are out of town. Jessica then wraps up the episode with some listener feedback.

Disney, Indiana – Episode 105 – Oh Mickey You’re So Fine!

Today’s episode marks the 4th anniversary of the Disney, Indiana podcast (well, July 26 is the show’s actual birthday). To celebrate, we bring you July’s installment of the yearlong Salute to Shorts segment. In this episode, our hosts take a look at the shorts of Mickey Mouse. No, not the little red ones, but his catalog of short films. They’ll talk a little about some of Mickey Mouse’s history and then review some of the films themselves (including Scott’s favorite, Runaway Brain).

After leaving the theater, our hosts will turn their attention to hidden Mickeys. They’ll explain what they are and then countdown their favorite hidden Mickeys found at the US theme parks.
